Who is Op. Dr. Seçil Uçar?
I’m Op. Dr. Seçil Uçar, an ENT & Head-Neck Surgery Specialist from Istanbul, Turkey. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, I completed my residency in ENT and Head-Neck Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University. Over the years, I have served in several state and private hospitals, also holding the position of Chief Physician for five years. Since 2021, I have been running my private clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, focusing exclusively on facial aesthetics.
During my clinical work, I observed that aging affects all facial layers — skin, fat pads, ligaments, and even bone. This led me to develop the 4D Lifting Technique, a structured and holistic, non-surgical rejuvenation system. The technique integrates thread lifting, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, and mesotherapy in a personalized plan for each patient. Today, it has been applied to more than 500 patients with high satisfaction rates.
At the heart of 4D Lifting is doing thread lifting the right way — with the right patient, right material, right number, and right technique. This philosophy forms the foundation of the trainings I provide through 4D Academy International, where doctors from around the world come to master this approach.
In addition, I regularly lecture and train physicians at Ege University Anatomy Department (EGE GAPUM) on cadaver dissections and cosmetic applications. I also hold a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Painting & Sculpture) from Yeditepe University — blending art, science, and surgical precision in my work.
As the founder and president of MEDIKOD Association, I continue to support professional education and complication management in medical aesthetics. My mission is to share the knowledge and experience I’ve refined over years of practice, helping physicians worldwide achieve safe, natural, and long-lasting results for their patients.
